Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and company name.
• The data you enter: licenses, jurisdictions, employee names, emails, and registration numbers, expiration dates, CE hours, and notes.
• Documents you upload: license certificates and cards you choose to attach. These can contain personal details (addresses, photos) — upload license paperwork only, and keep your originals; the vault holds convenience copies, not records of custody.
• Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe — we store a Stripe customer reference and subscription status, never your card number.
• Waitlist emails if you signed up before launch.

No advertising trackers, no analytics beyond server logs, no selling or renting data — ever.

How we use it

To run the product: showing you your dashboard, sending reminder and sign-in emails, and processing your subscription. That's the complete list.

Who processes it

Your data touches only the services required to operate LicenseTrack:

• Stripe — payments and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email (sign-in links, reminders)
• Backblaze B2 — encrypted off-site backups
• Cloudflare — network routing and DDoS protection

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active and for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted. Email us at any time to have it deleted sooner, or export it yourself as CSV first — we recommend you do.

Security

Sign-in is by one-time email link — there are no passwords to breach. Data is encrypted in transit, every request is scoped to your account, and backups replicate continuously to encrypted off-site storage. Uploaded documents live inside the same protected database as the rest of your data and are covered by the same backups and the same deletion policy.
